Homework Expectations

The children at Year 4 are expected to complete 35- 40 minutes of homework. Each week they will be given a homework sheet to complete.
Spelling- They will have between 12 to 16 words to learn for spelling each week.
Reading- Each night they will be required to do some reading.
Maths- They can learn their timetables and basic facts.
Homework will go home on a Monday and will need to be completed to be marked on a Friday. I am asking parents/ caregivers to sign their child's homework book on a Thursday night to show they've seen it.
Please leave a note in their homework book if there was a reason they had not completedit for the week.
